Stjarnan had a close game against Thor when they lost 1-3 earlier in the season here. However, prior to that for quite some time they have had excellent h2h results - scoring in each game since 2013 and winning 7 games since 2015 (out of 11 games).

Thor boosted well this season but their winter performance was much weaker, making me think that their long winning streak now is to a certain extent the product of a chance. Both teams with some rotations from what I read but mostly local players will play which favours Stjarnan.

Moreover, Thor is one of the few teams in Iceland that plays on grass so playing on artificial turf and travelling 250+km is quite a feat and it enhances the home advantage for Stjarnan.
